glasfrosch

case study

Exploring sound and genre through elements of popular and experimental music, film music and jazz, Glasfrosch make music that is colourful, dreamlike, and challenging. Using ambient synths and angular beats, FX drenched guitars and jazz heavy piano, with lyrics heavily influenced by surrealist writing, and zen.

Glasfrosch’s music is composed and produced by bandleader Justin Ashworth: vocals, guitars and electronics, and features Adam Rudegeair on piano/keyboards.

Together with producer and frontman Justin Ashworth, noizetrukt worked on the editing, mixing and additional programming for glasfrosch’s latest album release, “If you go far enough into the sky you’ll come out underwater”.

Percussion and cello duties were performed by Nat Grant, and Jenni Mils (respectively), and features guest performances from A State Of Flux vocalist Roni Shewan, and Umlaut/Mr. Bungle saxophonist Bär McKinnon. The album artwork was created by Nathan Jurevicus and Andrea Kang.
